About Rhythm of Abide
Helping followers of Jesus build daily rhythms that lead to deeper abiding.
Life moves fast.
We wake up to notifications, hurry through schedules, and end our days exhausted. Somewhere along the way, our relationship with God starts to feel distant — not because we’ve stopped believing, but because we’ve stopped abiding.
Rhythm of Abide was born from that tension — the desire to slow down, to reconnect with the heart of Jesus, and to find sustainable ways to walk with Him every day.
Why We Exist
Most believers don’t need more to do.
They need a better rhythm for the things that matter most.
Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and you will bear much fruit.” (John 15:4–5)
Abiding isn’t a moment on a Sunday — it’s a daily rhythm of presence.
That’s why we’re here:
To help you build a life that moves at the pace of Jesus.
To offer practical tools and intentional rhythms that shape hearts, homes, and habits around His presence.
Our Story
Hey — I’m Asher Cole, a pastor, husband, dad, and Navy Chief who spent years chasing productivity before realizing I was running on empty.
In that exhaustion, God reminded me that spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through abiding — a steady, simple, daily connection.
What started as my own personal practice — journaling through Scripture, slowing down, listening for God — has become Rhythm of Abide, a growing community of believers rediscovering the joy of unhurried formation.
Today, we help individuals, small groups, and churches experience transformation through simple spiritual rhythms — like the HEAR Method, the Discipleship Field Guide, and our 30-Day Studies that walk through books of the Bible one rhythm at a time.
Our Mission
To equip disciples of Jesus with rhythms that lead to lifelong abiding.
We believe discipleship is not information but imitation — walking as Jesus walked.
Our mission is to make that practical and possible for the modern believer.
Our approach is simple:
- Scripture first. God’s Word is our anchor.
- Sustainable habits. Rhythms that fit real life, not add more noise.
- Community. We grow better when we grow together.
- Formation over performance. Because abiding is about being, not doing.
Our Vision
We dream of a generation of believers who live unhurried, rooted, and present.
People who bring the presence of Jesus into their workplaces, schools, and families — not as a task to complete, but as a rhythm to live.
A world where discipleship isn’t a class to attend but a way of life to be practiced daily.
That’s the kind of church we believe Jesus is building — and we get to be a small part of it.
